Download, Install, & Set-up the Lightroom plugin (Mac, Windows)

Instructions for Mac

Download the plugin for Mac:

  1. Download the Mac app from picturelife.com/download
  2. Find the download in your Downloads folder - the file will be named named PicturelifeExportPlugin_x.x.x.pkg (x.x.x stands for the version number).
  3. Double click to open the downloaded .dmg file
  4. Double click the package icon to run the installer.

Install the Plugin for Mac:

  1. On the Introduction screen, click Continue.
  2. On the License screen, review the EULA and click Continue.
  3. When prompted to accept the terms of the EULA, click Agree.
  4. On the Destination Select screen, click Continue. If the installer skips this screen, it's nothing to worry about.
  5. On the Installation Type screen, click Install.
    • Type in your admin password if prompted.
  6. The installation takes only a second, then the Summary screen come up. Click Close to close the installation wizard.

Set up the plug in with your Picturelife library

Once you have installed the plugin, launch Lightroom and expand the Publish Services menu on the left side of the screen. You may be prompted to update your catalogue before Picturelife can launch – click Update Catalogue to proceed.

  1. Find Picturelife, and click Set Up – this will open a new Set Up screen. The Plug-in Info panel will be displayed on the right.
  2. Under the Picturelife tab, find and click the Log In button
  3. When promoted, click Authorize.
  4. You’ll be redirected to a Picturelife.com authorization page – if prompted, login to your Picturelife account.
  5. Authorization will then be automatic. To complete the authorization, click Click here to return to Picturelife.
  6. Click Launch Application

You’ll be returned to Lightroom, where your Picturelife login will be confirmed. Check that you’ve been logged in to your Picturelife account, then click OK.

Instructions for Windows

Download the plugin for Windows:

  1. Download the Windows app from picturelife.com/download.
  2. Find the download in your Downloads folder - the file will be named named PicturelifeExportPlugin_x.x.x.exe (x.x.x stands for the version number).
  3. Double click the file to start the installation process

Install the Plugin for Windows:

  1. To start the installation process, double click the downloaded file, PicturelifeExportPlugin_1.0.0.exe, from its download location
  2. When prompted, click Run to start the install
  3. On the Welcome install screen, click Next
  4. On the License Agreement screen, review the terms of agreement and click I accept the agreement
  5. After accepting the terms, click Next
  6. On the Ready to Install screen, click Install
  7. On the final install screen, click Finish to complete the installation

Set up the plug in with your Picturelife library

Once you have installed the plugin, launch Lightroom and expand the Publish Services menu on the left side of the screen. You may be prompted to update your catalogue before Picturelife can launch – click Update Catalogue to proceed.
