I just updated the iOS app and can't see all my photos! Help!

Don't worry, you most likely just need to take the following steps for your photos to re-appear!

  1. Open the side menu and tap Sign In if you're not already signed in. Log in to your Picturelife account.
  2. From the side menu, after logging in, tap Help > Clear Local Cache

If this doesn't work...

Login from a desktop browser at Picturelife.com

If your photos are all still safe and secure when you login via the web, then it's just an iOS issue and we'll get to the bottom of it.

If your photos are actually missing when you check via the web, please contact support@picturelife.com

    Greetings,

The new Mac Yosemite update introducing Photo, that replaces iPhoto on the Mac, is creating thousands of face recognition pictures of every picture in my library. Each of those zoomed in sections showing just the face are being saved as a separate picture in the Photo library. And of course, all thousands of these zoomed in face shots are now uploaded to my Picturelife.

I finally had to modify my desktop Picturelife settings to not upload anything from my Pictures folder. That seemed to stop the madness, but the damage has been done… and the future of Picturelife playing nicely with Photo needs to happen or no Mac user will continue using Picturelife.

Please confirm that you realize the problem exists and are working on a solution.

Also, please tell me how I can identify the literally thousands of face shot pictures that were uploaded.

    Hi Mike,

We are currently working on a new version of the uploader that would support the new Photos app. It should be available in a couple of weeks.
    Sorry about that.
