What are 'Masters' and 'Versions'?

Picturelife uploads both Masters and Versions from Aperture.

The Master is the original, unedited photo;

The Version(s) is the edited photo - this can also be called a Preview.

If there is more than one Version per Master in Aperture, Picturelife uses information such as ratings, captions, and photo sharpness, to determine which is the "best" photo, and shows the user that photo.

Both Master and Versions are stored in your Picturelife library, but only the 'best' Version is visible.
